​Ancient Pyramids symbolize advanced civilizations and their lasting legacies – monuments whose secrets are still being uncovered, with much lost to time…
Bitcoin, in a similar vein, is a monumental creation of our generation, built from digital blocks on a decentralized network, marking the start of a new digital era.
Gordon Berger’s ‘Bitcoin Pyramids’ draw a direct parallel. Built onto the blockchain, each pyramid grows block-by-block, dynamically compounding roughly every 10 minutes, in sync with Bitcoin’s heartbeat.
These evolving 3D monuments embody a new form of digital permanence, capable of lasting long after our lifetimes, a concept Gordon calls ‘Deep Art’. Inviting reflection on our role in shaping a lasting digital legacy, one that won't be lost like those of the past.

The foundations of these Pyramids are created on conceptually significant rare pieces of Bitcoin:
• Pyramid 1: ‘Block 9 450x’ Sat – originating from the first Bitcoin ever sent by Satoshi.
• Pyramids 2-5: Created on Sats sourced from each of the previous halving blocks, reflecting Bitcoin’s cyclical milestones and the use of Sats as timestamped canvases.
• Pyramids 6-10: Created on Specially Named Sats - ‘BreakOfTime,’ ‘LoveOurTime,’ ‘aGoldenTime’, ‘AccruedTime’ and ‘GiftsInTime’, underscore the emotional and philosophical depth of this collection.

• Evolution: Utilizing Recursion these Pyramids grow in real-time as new blocks are added to Bitcoin, making each moment of interaction unique.
• 3D: Leveraging fully on-chain Three.js libraries each piece is an interactive dynamic 3D structure.

Linked to global time zones, each pyramid cycles through six color variations daily. Starting with low saturation, the color gradually becomes more saturated, changing every four hours and resetting at midnight, reflecting the rhythm of global time. ⩇⩇:⩇⩇
The fully saturated midnight colours are aligned with the chakra system, tying in a spiritual aspect akin to their ancient predecessors.
